Referrals are such a valuable way for agents to connect with someone who may know the area better. I met this wonderful couple through a referral, and we worked together for a year and a half to find the right home for them. They had to sell their house in another area (with a different agent) before they could buy, and although we had an accepted offer, their home didn’t sell right away. But as they say, everything happens for a reason.
After viewing many properties and adjusting their vision of where they wanted to be, we walked into a home that felt like it was meant to be. It was on the water, beautifully redone, with gorgeous gardens (which my clients, passionate about gardening, loved). And to top it off, it came fully furnished! Once their home sold, everything fell into place, and we were able to firm up on our end of the transaction.
Now, my clients are not just clients—they’re friends. My garden is growing through the seasons with perennials they graciously share when I visit. This referral didn’t just lead to a successful transaction, it also gave me great friends.
