Peterborough has many events each year. Some of the larger events include the Peterborough Musicfest‎, the Dragon Boat Festival, and the Peterborough Folk Festival. Every July, Peterborough puts on a Canada Day parade. The parade is followed by the Canadian Multicultural Festival.
