Working with Friends

When friends choose you to list their home, it’s both a compliment and a pleasure. Some agents may not share that sentiment, but I’ve never encountered that myself. These particular friends were moving out of the province, so selling their home was a priority. They had put so much love and effort into making the house their own, and it truly showed—it was beautiful!

We had interest and a few offers that didn’t pan out, but we just hadn’t found the right buyers. More often than not, it’s about finding that one perfect buyer. During one of my open houses, in walked the right buyer. He was looking for exactly what this home and community had to offer for his family, and it was a perfect match.

They were from the city so a fellow agent got their home on the market and sold it relatively quickly, finalizing everything on our end. The process moved swiftly, and I referred my clients to an agent out of province, who helped them find a home in no time. Working with the right people makes all the difference in making the process smooth.
