Downsizing
Working with extended family has been such a pleasure. There’s a special ease and comfort that comes when your family trusts you to help with one of life’s big transitions—downsizing. When the family home becomes too large, or the lawn too much to maintain, it’s bittersweet to see the house you remember from childhood change hands. But you understand the reasons, and you do everything you can to make the process easier.
In the end, it all worked out fabulously! They are now enjoying life overlooking the water on a little piece of paradise. This beautiful couple had a general idea of what they wanted, but the homes we looked at always seemed to come up short—until we found "the one." It was perfect for them, and since then, they’ve transformed it into a space worthy of a magazine spread—no joke!
One thing I’ve realized is that working together so closely creates a real connection. You talk to your clients daily, discussing how to move forward, sharing ideas—and after it’s all done, you miss that constant connection.
Thank you D&G for trusting in me
